Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology Internship

How to apply

Who:
DVMs with an interest in diagnostic imaging who resonate with our mission of bringing advanced human-quality diagnostic imaging to pets. We believe our unique model, blending the world’s most advanced imaging technology with a high volume of hands-on cases, and our team’s specialized expertise, is the very best way to train world-class radiologists.

What:
Sage Veterinary Imaging currently offers a traditional three year radiology residency, led by Dr. Jaime Sage. Our radiology interns are a key part of the diagnostic imaging team and, while working closely with the residents, have access to many of the same learning opportunities. You will gain unrivaled level of hands-on experience with daily 3T MRI, 128 CT, Ultrasound, echocardiography, special procedures, and nuclear medicine cases. Our complete ACVR program can be viewed here.

Where:
Interns and residents are currently being placed in Round Rock, Texas. Opportunities for other locations may open.

When:
Internships begin every July and a decision for admission will be made by February. Sage Veterinary Imaging participates in the match program and ALSO accepts applications from candidates outside the match. In either case, we encourage you to fill out the form below to make contact with our team.

Why:
What really sets our radiology internship apart from others is the intersection of advanced technology, a radiology team that has specialized deeply in cross-sectional imaging, and sees a high volume of 3T MRI, 128 slice CT, and ultrasound cases. Our unique training methodology blends hands-on learning with academic concepts that will prepare you for competitive application to radiology residencies. Many of our past interns report being well-prepared for their residencies due to the experiences they gained at SVI.

Next Steps:

Applications are due January 1st of each year. Please fill out the form below to begin your application to the internship program. If you scroll down past the form, you will also see a video with additional information about our program.
